Catalog description

This course introduces the use of the Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) for music production and the practice of ear training as it relates to the identification, manipulation, and perception of sound and music. The course utilizes in-depth exercises designed to develop specific listening skills in audio and music production, fundamental elements of popular music, foundational concepts in digital audio theory, file management, and basic audio processing using Pro Tools and the Mac platform.
