Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive foundation in telemental health practice. Students will explore licensing and legal standards, ethical considerations, client and provider readiness, risk assessment, and emergency planning for virtual care. Emphasis is placed on technological fluency, secure documentation, and effective therapeutic techniques for online settings. By the end of the course, students will demonstrate the ability to evaluate readiness for telehealth and apply essential skills for safe, ethical, and effective practice in virtual environments.
