Catalog description

This introductory course teaches students the information literacy skills necessary for navigating education and careers in an increasingly digital world. Students will learn how to find, evaluate, and use library resources ethically and legally. Topics include developing search strategies, using databases effectively, and the use of AI in academic research. Emphasis is placed on student skill building and practical application as students construct the accumulating components of a mini-research assignment.
