Catalog description
This course introduces students to the R programming environment and its application in statistical analysis. Students will learn foundational statistics concepts including descriptive statistics, how to perform hypothesis testing and will construct regression models using R. Other topics covered include data visualization, sampling, bias assessment, and confidence intervals, with a focus on practical, real-world applications. By the end of the course, students will have the skills to analyze, interpret, and communicate results effectively. Prerequisite: Recommend DSC 500
