Catalog description
This course will be an overview of typical motor, cognitive, social, adaptive and linguistic development in the first five years of life; the common motor and cognitive delays, as well as a variety of diagnoses treated by physical therapists in children under 5 years old; assessment of functional and participation limitations in children and treatment planning to address these concerns. A variety of settings and treatment models for pediatric physical therapists will be discussed.
