Child/Adolescent Psychotherapy

Catalog description

This course provides an in-depth exploration of the psychological, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children and adolescents from infancy through late adolescence/early adulthood. Students will gain insights into how developmental stages impact behavior and mental health. Emphasis will be placed on the development of therapeutic approaches and interventions that are consistent with these developmental factors and influences.
