Catalog description

This course will offer an advanced exploration of primary topics within the broad field of psychology, ensuring a strong foundational knowledge base in service of developing discipline-specific knowledge and professional competencies. Building upon knowledge acquired at the undergraduate level, students will delve into complex theories, methodologies, and applications in psychological research and practice. Topics will include, but are not limited to, the biological bases of behavior, developmental processes across the lifespan, mood and emotion, memory and cognition, and social and interpersonal behavior. Students will explore these primary areas within psychology, appreciating the complexities of human experience from multiple levels of analysis and across diverse contexts.
