Catalog description

This is the second of a four-course doctoral project sequence and builds upon the foundational work completed in NURS 880. The course focuses on advancing scholarly inquiry through systematic evidence synthesis and the development of an evidence-informed strategy to address the identified anesthesia practice problem. In this course, students synthesize appraised literature to evaluate current best practices, identify gaps in knowledge, and develop implications and recommendations for anesthesia practice. Emphasis is placed on analytic rigor, scholarly writing, and the translation of evidence into a clearly articulated strategy to support subsequent implementation planning.
