Catalog description

This course is the fourth in a six-course series designed to promote mastery of the fundamental principles relevant to the advanced practice role of the nurse anesthetist. Introduces students to all clinical requirements of the Council of Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs and follows the AANA Standards for Nurse Anesthesia practice. Focuses on practical application of didactic material from the nurse anesthesia curriculum affording students the opportunity to engage in supervised administration of anesthesia care to individuals across the lifespan. Expected student performance is at the Competent Level.
