Catalog description

This course is designed to further explore the concept of evidence-based practice, the professional role of the nurse, the science of nursing and the nursing research process: including the generation, synthesis, translation, application, and dissemination of nursing knowledge to improve health and transform health care of individuals and communities. The impact of quality improvement, patient safety strategies, and health policy on patient outcomes will be introduced. (3 hrs. class per week)
