Catalog description

This course introduces students to health assessment of individuals across the life span with emphasis on acquisition of nurse entry level competence with a holistic health assessment. Health care technology for communication and documentation will be used. This course will specifically address the application of health assessment techniques and interpretation of findings to individuals of all ages, including special considerations for infants, children, older adults, and biological variations. (3 hrs. class per week and 45 hrs. lab/clinical per session)
