Catalog description
Capstone course with immersive participation in a clinical setting as a contributing member of the interprofessional team. This is a synthesis experience characterized by demonstration of nursing clinical judgement & competencies acquired in the didactic and clinical components of previous courses in the nursing program. Emphasis on demonstration of professional behaviors, interprofessional communication, collaboration, and the effective use of leadership and management skills. Students will examine data for evidence-based or quality improvement in the clinical setting. (1 hr. seminar per week; 135 hrs. clinical per session)
