Catalog description

This course introduces implementation of the nursing process and clinical judgement when taking care of adults with illness or disease. Concepts of clinical judgement, communication, compassionate care & determinants of health will be applied to health alterations in gastrointestinal, reproductive, renal, urinary, musculoskeletal, neurologic, and sensory systems. Spheres of regenerative/restorative care and chronic disease care are emphasized. (3 hrs. class per week, 67.5 hr. clinical per session)
