Catalog description

This course is designed to serve as an introduction to the business function of Marketing. The basics of marketing theory, the marketing mix, environmental factors, target marketing and other strategic components that affect the decisions of marketing managers are covered. Students will be introduced to topics such as, marketing strategy, consumer behavior, marketing research, advertising, sales, and social media marketing. Prerequisite: BUSA 103
