Knight Life I

Catalog description

Becoming BU: Knight Life I introduces students to Bellarmine, to college life, and to the fundamental values of a liberal arts education. This course is designed to excite intellectual curiosity and interest, develop academic skills, and help each student find his or her unique place in our community. A two-credit hour course, it will introduce and begin practicing the skills of critical thinking, oral learning communication, collaboration, and information fluency, while introducing habits of mind such as reflective learning and wellness. Note: This course is waived for transfer students, students with a joint services/military transcript on file at Bellarmine, and for first-time, first-year students who are age 22 or older. Incoming first-time, first-year students who are under 22 but are not entering Bellarmine directly from high school may petition for a waiver for this course during their admission process.
