Catalog description

This course will apply theoretical principles associated with learning motor skills, and will specifically discuss the stages of information processing, address how attentional processes influence motor skill acquisition, indicate how anxiety affects motor learning, discuss the different types of feedback to promote motor learning, identify the best ways to practice a motor skill, and apply appropriate motivational techniques to promote motor learning.
