Catalog description

An introduction to the study of the Earth as a dynamic, evolving planet through an exploration of the four main earth systems: Lithosphere, Biosphere, Atmosphere, and Hydrosphere. Topics include but are not limited to the rock cycle, the water cycle, plate tectonics, natural hazards, the fossil record, and climate science. Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory. Enrollment restricted to sophomore and above, education certificate-seeking students only. Must be concurrently enrolled in ENVS 250L.
