Catalog description
This course introduces the students to the doctoral dissertation. The general structure of a dissertation and the process of constructing a dissertation will be presented. Each of the five dissertation chapters will be covered in-depth including the specific requirements within each of the chapters. The course is intended as a first semester class to provide new students with a comprehensive understanding of the expectations associated with the doctoral dissertation.
