Catalog description
An analysis of reading methodology and instructional techniques. Special emphasis is placed on the direct application of theory to the teaching of reading in the classroom. Specific focus will be on the development of instructional practices and pedagogy connected to foundational reading skills (phonological awareness, alphabetic principle, phonics, and fluency). Teaching demonstrations and observation required.
