Internship

Catalog description

The internship practicum provides the student the opportunity to apply classroom learning to the workplace and refine knowledge, skills, and dispositions. Students may choose to do an internship practicum in a private business, community organizaiton or government agency that deals with communication and/or digital media. Students who are approved for a practicum expereience will expand upon knowledge and skills learned in the Master's coursework. To register for this course, students must complete the Handshake registration process on the Career Development Center's website and all approvals must be complete by the semester registration deadline.
