Catalog description
Video Art explores the moving image as a means of creative, aesthetic, and critical expression. Through assignments based in video and audio production and editing, students will explore concepts related to time-based media and contemporary art practices while acquiring knowledge of camera functions, video editing software, and display formats. Art majors are encouraged to take Digital Foundations (ART 231) prior to Video Art.
