Catalog description
Prerequisite(s): TED 1312. Mathematics content, materials, and conceptual activities for the elementary school. The emphasis of the course is to prepare the elementary school teacher to implement a constructivist approach to the teaching of mathematics based on an understanding of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) standards. Includes laboratory experiences in teaching mathematics in the elementary school.
