Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Open only to international students who have been referred through ISAS or by requirement of the student’s academic dean. This course is for academically at-risk international students to develop effective learning and successful self-management strategies in the university. Topics focus on notetaking, study skills, and English language skills, along with methods for dealing with time management, stress, anxiety, and motivation. Students meet weekly with an instructor for individualized academic success planning and strategizing. This course may only be taken once.
