Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Instructor consent. Must have completed all required courses and passed qualifying exam. Doctoral students in public health gain approval of a written dissertation and research, analyze, write, and defend their dissertation. A total of 12 credit hours of dissertation work is required and counts toward the degree. These credits are commonly divided across multiple semesters and only begin after students have successfully completed all course work and passed their doctoral qualifying examinations.
