Catalog description

This course examines the principles and practices of Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) that enable organizations to effectively produce and deliver goods and services. Students learn to analyze and improve operations through topics such as demand planning, sourcing, inventory management, production and distribution, quality management, Lean and Six Sigma principles, and decision theory. Emphasis is placed on the integration of operations, marketing, finance, and supply chain functions in creating world-class performance. Experiential projects, simulations, and live case studies develop analytical and problem-solving skills. Stewardship-oriented OSCM practices are highlighted as essential for sustainable competitive advantage, ethical leadership, and organizational excellence.
