Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): MGT 3305; only open to BBA students. A study of the human resource management profession. Specific functions to be studied include recruitment, selection, training and development, compensation, discipline, and equal opportunity laws and cases. Emphasis throughout is on the human resource manager's role in organizational effectiveness. BBA students must have a declared major to enroll in this course.
