Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing; only open to BBA students. This course provides an introduction to the managerial and leadership processes through a study of the organization as a social system. Emphasis is placed on presenting practical skills that will facilitate the student's transition to the workplace. Topics examined include management and leadership philosophy, ethical decision making, employee motivation, work attitudes, teamwork and group dynamics, managerial communication, and organizational culture and change.
