Catalog description
Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in ME 3320; a grade of C or better or concurrent enrollment in ME 3322 or BME 4370. The fundamentals of machine elements in mechanical design. Includes the analysis of components under static and fatigue loadings, and the analysis, properties, and selection of machine elements such as shafts, gears, belts, chains, brakes, clutches, bearings, screw drives, and fasteners.
