Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): ENG 3302 or LING 3312 or LING 3310, ENG 3310, ANT 3310 or SPA 3309 or consent of instructor. Theories of language acquisition, taking into account such fields as linguistics, neurophysiology, psychology, sociology, and anthropology, as those disciplines illuminate the process of acquiring language. The course will also familiarize the student with problems and issues in the teaching of second languages.
