Catalog description
Prerequisite(s): CHE 1301 and 1101, 1302 and 1102. Investigate the chemical composition of organic matter in soils, sediments, and petroleum source rocks. Skills acquired will include the measurement and interpretation of biomarkers and molecular proxies. The course includes an intensive review of the requisite organic chemistry concepts and nomenclature.
