Ecological Risk Assessment

Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing or consent of instructor. A thorough treatment of assessment procedures for quantifying hazardous effects of chemicals on the environment. Topics will include but are not limited to components of risk assessment paradigm, ecological risk assessment for contaminated sites, the precautionary principle, and other contemporary risk assessment issues.
