Catalog description
This course is designed to provide students with the fundamental concepts of industrial hygiene. It covers typical industrial conditions that may lead to workplace exposures, along with types of work-related disorders or diseases resulting from the exposure. The course explores chemical, physical, and biological hazards commonly encountered in occupational settings and introduces mathematical methods frequently used by industrial hygienists to assess these workplace hazards to protect workers’ health.
