Catalog description
Prerequisite(s): Must be enrolled in the School Psychology program. A six-hundred-hour field-based experience that must be completed in a public school setting. Details of duties may vary but should emphasize assessment, individual and group counseling/therapy, consultation, in-service presentations, and professional development opportunities. Field supervision must be provided by the district/co-op, and should be directed by a qualified school psychologist from the state of internship (e.g. a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology - LSSP if interning in Texas).
