Catalog description
This course explores strategies for creating and sustaining inclusive classrooms within the framework of effective instruction in general education settings. Students will examine the fundamentals of inclusive teaching, evidence-based instructional practices, and approaches for differentiating instruction across various content areas. The course emphasizes targeted strategies to enhance students' memory, attention, motivation, study skills, and peer interactions. Through research-based best practices, practical checklists, and classroom-ready techniques, students will develop the skills necessary to design and implement inclusive instructional plans that promote academic success for all learners.
