Prerequisite(s): EDL 5359 or equivalent; or consent of instructor. Legal and regulatory applications as a context and constraint in educational leadership decision-making. Topics are subject to change, but generally include federal and state constitutional provisions; statutory standards and regulations; local rules, procedures, and directives; fundamentals of contract law; and the governance of educational institutions.
