Catalog description
This course introduces the core principles and methods of artificial intelligence, including maximum likelihood estimation, numerical optimization, artificial neural networks, convolutional neural networks, deep reinforcement learning, graphical models, transformers, and large language models. Students will learn both the theoretical foundations and practical techniques for designing, implementing, and evaluating intelligent systems in real-world settings.
