Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): C or better in either CSI 3344 or DSC 3334. This course offers a technical introduction to Artificial Intelligence with a strong emphasis on Python implementation. Students will master the full data workflow from cleaning and visualization to building machine learning models, while exploring modern architectures like CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, and Large Language Models (LLMs) Through hands-on projects, learners apply AI models to various domains such as Fintech and biomedicine, critically examining AI ethics and societal impact.
