Catalog description
Prerequisite(s): BIO 2306 with a grade of C or better and upper-level standing. Focuses on epigenetic regulation of gene expression and cellular phenotype and fosters a critical appreciation of the mechanisms underlying cellular differentiation and altered cellular behavior in disease states. Students will engage with research articles and evaluate clinical applications of therapies that target epigenetics.
