Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Consent of instructor. Biological concepts with emphasis on cell biology, metabolism, and genetics. Students will work in small groups on inquiry-based projects in the area of microbiology, genetics, molecular biology, and genomics. Credit may not be received after receiving credit in BIO 1305 and BIO 1105. A student will be granted a maximum of two attempts (where an earned grade or a “W” notation counts as an attempt) to earn a higher grade in BIO 1405 in order to fulfill a prerequisite or a course requirement for a degree, major, or minor.
