Catalog description

Introduction to the Radiologic Technology Profession. Subject areas studied are the development of the practice of radiology, medical relationships and ethics, use of basic x-ray equipment and accessories, prime exposure factors, and digital image processing.Practice in the fundamentals of equipment operation and image processing in the campus x-ray lab will provide the basis for developing initial psychomotor skills necessary to function as a radiographer. Prerequisite: Admission to program. Concurrent: RAD 110 and RAD 113
