Paramedic Cardiology I

Catalog description

This course provides the paramedic student with information about cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and electrophysiology. Emphasis is placed on rhythm interpretation, recognition of life threatening arrhythmias, electrical intervention and other pre-hosptial patient management strategies. Prerequisite: Acceptance into Paramedic Associate in Applied Science following the course sequence and C or better in all program courses. Co-requisite-PMED 210, PMED 230, PMED 240, PMED 250.
