Catalog description
This course will provide teachers with tools to implement equal opportunities for all students in their classrooms, while encouraging a commitment to educating all learners. Students will learn to adapt subject matter to learner diversity. Students will study best practices regarding learning, motivation, classroom management, and teaching strategies, while considering diversity, equity, learning styles and needs. This course is instructed in a seminar format. In addition, this course has a 35-hour required field experience in a local school district. Prerequisite: EDUC 210 or EDUC 212
