Catalog description

Class instruction in intermediate keyboard techniques and theory, including scales, chords, selected solos and studies. This includes, but is not limited to, skills in reading music, familiarization with the keyboard, hand, finger and pedal control, chord progressions, scales, transpositions and historical stylistic markings. Recommended that students have a keyboard available for regular practice. Prerequisite: MUSI 12B.
