Mathematical Concepts for Elementary Teachers - Number Systems

Catalog description

This course covers the real number system, numeration system, elementary number theory, geometry, and problem solving. Technology and hands-on experiences are integrated in this course. It is designed to fulfill the lower division mathematics requirement for students who are planning to enter a multiple subject teaching credential programs. Prerequisite: MATH 55 or appropriate placement based on AB 705 mandates.
