Catalog description
This course is a historical survey of the United States from the end of the Civil War to the present. The course also introduces students to historical reasoning skills. It will focus on the historical significance of major economic, technological and scientific developments as well as major political changes, ideologies, conflicts and events. A field trip may be assigned.
