Catalog description
A survey of organic and biochemistry for nursing majors and other allied health fields. Topics covered include the drawing, naming, reactions and properties of hydrocarbons, alcohols, ethers, thiols, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, amines, esters, amides, carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, nucleic acids and metabolism. Recommended Preparation: MATH 55. Prerequisite: CHEM 1A.
