Catalog description
This course provides students with an overview of the history and trends of adult and juvenile corrections. It will focus on probation, parole, legal issues, laws, and general operations in correctional institutions. The relationship between corrections and other components of the criminal justice system will also be examined. Students will also explore employment opportunities and entry requirements in the criminal justice field.
