Is a course that provides students with hands-on experience using oceanographic data and techniques. Students investigate chemical and physical properties of seawater, biological communities, the interaction of the ocean with the atmosphere, and coastal and shoreline features. Formerly offered as GEOG 142, earn credit for one only. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
