Catalog description

Is a course that introduces students to the basic ideas, concepts, terms, and trends in the field of victimology with a multicultural perspective. It includes a focus on victim-centered approaches and an emphasis on restorative justice and trauma centered care to better integrate the needs of crime victims into the criminal justice system. Course offered less than once a year. Prerequisite(s): ACLT 053 or ( ESOL 052 and ESOL 100 )
