Catalog description

Provides an introduction to the theoretical knowledge of the functions of the anesthesia machine. Also introduces the student to the use of ancillary equipment including set-up, maintenance and troubleshooting. Provides the opportunity for hands-on experience with equipment and simulated patient experiences. Course offered once a year (fall or spring). Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Anesthesia Technology program Lab Fee: $50.00
